The full BlackBerry Enterprise Server™ gives you the ability to securely and efficiently connect to your company's other server-based applications - not just email. This feature is known as Mobile Data System (MDS). It's a secure, end-to-end platform to access your company's other server-based applications - such as:
- Web servers for Internet access so you can browse the full Internet from your device and keep in touch with news and business information on the move giving you the same controlled external browsing rights as an internal desktop user
- Your Customer Relationship Management databases e.g. SAP®, Oracle®, PeopleSoft®, Salesforce.com®
- Web servers for Intranet access to applications like expenses, holidays, management dashboards, stock checking
Access to the web and MDS data is built into the monthly subscription** you pay for your BlackBerry Enterprise Solution from O2. It's easy to budget - you just access the data, web resources and applications you need to be effective on the move, all within the simple flat rate price you pay for your BlackBerry service.
**Your monthly Line Rental Charge excludes O2 Mobile Web browsing which is used to browse the Internet on some non RIM manufactured (BlackBerry Connect™) devices and also applies if you use your BlackBerry enabled SIM as a modem.
