What you will need
To use BlackBerry Enterprise Solution from O2, you will need:
- a BlackBerry compatible handset - the price you pay depends on the handset and also your contract with O2
- a BlackBerry Enterprise Solution tariff
- a compatible voice tariff if you want to use a handset for both BlackBerry and voice
- BlackBerry Enterprise Server software - the type you need depends on how many people in your business use a BlackBerry
- the appropriate number of end-user licences - one for each BlackBerry user in your company
Line Rental of £28 a month*
It's easy to manage your budget with BlackBerry Enterprise Solution. The Line Rental Charge is £28 a month and this stays the same however much UK BlackBerry data you use. Your monthly Line Rental Charge includes:
- sending and receiving emails
- reading attachments
- wireless synchronisation of calendar, tasks and address book
- web browsing with the BlackBerry browser - supported on all RIM devices and some non RIM manufactured (BlackBerry Connect) devices
- O2 Active (WAP) browsing
- access to mobile applications
- route planning using BlackBerry Maps and satellite navigation route downloads

* Your monthly line rental includes web browsing using the BlackBerry browser and O2 Active (WAP). Some non RIM manufactured (BlackBerry Connect) devices do not support the BlackBerry browser. You will lose any inclusive data allowance you have with your O2 voice tariff when you add on a BlackBerry tariff.
Free server software for businesses with less than 30 BlackBerry users, using Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Domino email.
New BlackBerry® Professional Software supports up to 30 BlackBerry Enterprise Solution end users and is designed specifically for small and medium-sized businesses.
BlackBerry Professional Software installs easily on your existing Microsoft® Exchange® or IBM® Lotus® Domino® email server, saving you money as you don't need to purchase additional hardware. A set-up wizard simplifies the installation process for you and gets you set up quickly.
BlackBerry Professional Software makes it easy for you to control your BlackBerry user base. You can quickly access key functions like add/delete user. And IT policies for your business are available as ready made templates.
For businesses with more than 30 BlackBerry users
If your business has more than 30 BlackBerry users, you can buy the BlackBerry Enterprise Server software together with 20 end-user licences for £2,500.
- Additional packs of 10 end-user licences cost £350
- Additional packs of 50 end-user licences cost £1,650
BlackBerry training
When you set up your BlackBerry Enterprise Server software from O2, you can also send one person to attend an IT Helpdesk Training Course on O2 premises free of charge. You can book more places on the course at an extra cost of £250 per person per day.
O2 also offer training courses dedicated to one customer where the course is designed to meet your particular training needs. The charges are as follows:
- BlackBerry Training at a Customer's premises is charged at £1000 per full day and £600 per half day.
- BlackBerry Training at an O2 site (Leeds, Slough, Preston Brook) is charged at £800 per full day and £500 per half day.

Minimum subscription period
The Minimum Period you can subscribe to this service is 12 months. This is the same whether you choose a data only service or a service with a new voice contract. If the BlackBerry Enterprise Service tariff is added to an existing voice contract, the Minimum Period of the original SIM card may need to be extended.
